1 cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
½ tsp Baking Soda
½ cup Buttermilk
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1 Egg (Room Temp)
½ cup Oil
1 tsp Vanilla
½ cup Hot Water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line cupcake pan with cupcake liners and set aside.

Combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl, set aside.

Combine egg, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla together.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Add the hot water to the batter and mix again. Batter will be thin.

Fill cupcake liners only ½ full.

Bake for 18-21 minutes.
